Article Withdrawal Policy
At the International Journal of Modern Artificial Hybrid Intelligence: Advanced Learning Innovations (IJMAHI), published by AI Research Publishing, we consider article withdrawal a serious matter. Authors are advised to understand the ethical implications of submitting and withdrawing manuscripts.
1. Withdrawal Before Peer Review
Authors may request withdrawal of their manuscript before the peer review process begins. Such requests should be made formally via email by the corresponding author with a valid reason.

2. Withdrawal During Peer Review
Once the manuscript has entered peer review, withdrawal is discouraged without a compelling reason. Ethical grounds must justify withdrawal, and permission is subject to editorial approval. Unethical withdrawal may lead to:
- Blacklisting of the author(s)
- Notification to affiliated institutions
- Blocking future submissions
3. Withdrawal After Acceptance
Withdrawal is not permitted once the article has been accepted for publication unless serious ethical concerns arise (e.g., plagiarism, data falsification). Authors must submit a formal request, and the Editor-in-Chief will investigate the issue thoroughly.
4. Article Withdrawal After Publication
Published articles are part of the scholarly record and cannot be withdrawn lightly. In rare and exceptional circumstances (e.g., copyright infringement, serious misconduct), withdrawal may be approved by the editorial board. A withdrawal notice will be issued and the article will be watermarked as “Withdrawn” while maintaining transparency.
5. Retraction vs Withdrawal
- Withdrawal is applicable before or immediately after publication.
- Retraction applies to already published articles found to violate ethical guidelines (e.g., plagiarism, fake authorship).
6. Author Responsibilities
By submitting a manuscript, authors agree that they will not simultaneously submit it to another journal or withdraw it without valid justification. Misuse of the withdrawal policy may result in editorial sanctions.
